Pawan Kalyan was married to a Nandini in the year 1991, but he later on started to live with Actress Renu Desai from the year 2000. After the gossip that came into circulation that Pawan married Renu desai in a secret ceremony, Nandini started to fight against her right of first wife. She then filed a case against Pawan Kalyan in the year 2007. After a high drama of Nandini and Family, she was granted with a divorce and alimony of 5 crores on 13th august of the year 2008.
This divorce case was settled as soon as Chiranjeevi announced his political entry and Renu Desai agreed that she is not yet married to Pawan Kalyan, but is sharing a live in relationship with him openly. A son named Akhira Nandan was born to Pawan and Renu and was named so as Pawan Kalyan is an ardent fan of international fame director Akira Kurosawa.
