Pawan Kalyan Biography

Pawan Kalyan (born September 2, 1971) is a popular Indian (Telugu) film star. He is fondly called 'Power Star' by his fans. His birth name is Konidala Kalyan. He is the younger brother of popular Telugu actor, Chiranjeevi and producer Naga Babu.Pawan Kalyan entered the Telugu movie industry with Akkada Abbai Ikkada Ammayi as Kalyan Babu. This film did not do well at the box office. However, he was noticed for his Martial Arts.After his first movie, his second movie Gokulamlo Sita was an average flick but his next movies like Suswagatham, Tholi Prema, Thammudu, Badri, and Kushi went on to become hits which earned him a great reputation in Tollywood. Kushi was a trend setter and a commercial and critical blockbuster. He even directed a few song and fight sequences in the film. He directed his next movie, Johnny, that came 2 years later but was a disappointment. His subsequent flicks have been average and did not evoke the same response as his earlier films.Pawan has started an organisation called Common Man Protection Force in October 2007. He has contributed 1 crore INR towards the corpus fund, CMPF aims to solve the social problems, help the neglected sections of the society. Its area of operations is in India. He intends to do it through organised militia, and seems to have got carried away with the ideals of Gudumba Shankar. CMPF targets child prostitution, Flourosis afflicted areas initially. News is spread that CMPF is changed to Common Protection force.

Pawan Kalyan’s long battle for divorce from his wife Nadini is finally ended. On Tuesday (August 12, 2008), Vizag Court has granted divorce to him as Nandini withdrew her petition seeking alimony from the star. Both the parties (Nandini and Pawan) settled the matter amicably out of the court. It is learnt that Pawan paid Rs 5 Crores to Nandini and settled the matter.Hence Nandini withdrew the cases against Pawan and his family members and also informed the court that she has no objection to the divorce cased filed by Pawan. So the court granted the divorce to both of them.Now Pawan Kalyan can legally marry his long-time live-in partner Renu with whom he had a kid Akira Nandan.Pandemonium at courtBoth Pawan and Nandini attended court. When Pawan entered into the court premises, pandemonium prevailed as fans turned up in hundreds and tried to greet him. PULI REGULAR SHOOTING

It's heard last week that S.J. Suryah's directorial venture, Puli, with Pawan Kalyan had to stop its shooting as the director got injured. However, there's no delay in shooting!
Puli now continues shoot in Hyderabad. Right now, action sequences involving Pawan Kalyan are being shot in and around Dilsukhnagar. The major regular shoot would begin next month. A R Rehman is scoring the music for the film. Haniska or Katrina acts the heroine opposite Pawan in the movie second heroine is Pravathi Melton. Pawan is asking film must complete in 4 months and to release for sankranthi festival .

PULI SHOOTING

The regular shooting of Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Puli’ is likely to begin from June 23. However, the shooting will continue for only five days. It is well aware that SJ Surya is directing and Singanamala Ramesh is producing the movie in which the Power Star is playing a powerful role.
The speciality of the films is that AR Rehman is scoring the music and recently two songs were already recorded for the flick. One of the songs which goes like ‘Mega Manly Maha Magadaa… Mahanubhavulu Marendukantaa…’ was penned by Harirama Jogaiah Sastry. The heroine for the film is yet to be selected. In every probability, the film is going to hit the before main elections.

Earlier there were reports that Priyanka Chopra is likely to be playing the lead role but Hansika has stepped in. Hansika is steadfastly moving to the stardom in Telugu. She made dream debut in Desamuduru and won the youth’s hearts. Parvathi Melton is playing second heroine in this film

After the Grand sucess of Jalsa which was breaking all the records it's the time to wait for the next venture of Pawan Kalyan's, Puli which has been directing by the Successfull director S J Surya, Both pawan and surya past combination film 'Kushi' which was the BlockBustor movie of that time, that brings special place in the Telugu Film Industry has came together again with the new venture Puli. Singanamala Ramesh is the producer for this film.

Sensational Tamil director SJ Surya, who had earlier directed Pawan Kalyan for a blockbuster like Khushi is now planning a film with the same hero and the title of the film would be Puli. SJ Surya had also turned an artiste and is acting in films."It is my dream project. I thought of giving it a celluloid shape but could not for various reasons. As I could not do it in Tamil, I have decided to venture into Telugu film industry once again to do that project with Pawan Kalyan. However, our hero is busy for the next six months. So, my dream project would take shape after six months. We are yet to select the heroine. Meanwhile, I am playing as an artiste in two films and one of them is coming under my direction," said actor cum director SJ Surya.
